Medialab Gdańsk. Media Literacy in the Digital Age

Projekt dotyczy edukacji medialnej młodych, skierowany jest do studentów_tek/ nauczycieli_ek/ edukatorów_ek/ dziennikarzy_rek/ liderów_ek .. obecnych lub przyszłych, a jego celem jest rozmowa o edukacji medialnej obecnie – w kontekście rozwoju nowych technologii a następnie wspólne wypracowanie końcowego efektu.  Jako gdański zespół chcemy skupić się na temacie wolności mediów, krytycznego myślenia, weryfikacji informacji oraz wpływie AI na edukację.  

W ramach projektu odbędzie się międzynarodowe spotkanie w Bremie 12-16.10.2023, podczas którego weźmiemy udział w spotkaniach i dyskusjach oraz pracach nad wspólnym rezultatem projektu. Zaplanowane jest także drugie spotkanie w 23-27.05. 2024 roku w Gdańsku z udziałem partnerów z Bremy. Będzie to finał projektu. Pomiędzy spotkaniami w Bremie i Gdańsku planujemy regularne spotkania zespołu związane z pracą nad projektem, a także rozwijaniem kompetencji związanych w tematem działania.

Spotkania z Partnerami z Bremy będą odbywać się w języku angielskim.

Naszymi ekspertami są: Grzegorz Stunża (EdFuture) oraz Wiktor Nowak (Fundacja INDiD).

The Urban Culture Institute started cooperation with the Lidice Haus organization (Bremen/Germany) as part of their Media Literacy in the Digital Age project under the Erasmus+ program.

The project concerns the media education of young people, is addressed to  students/teachers/educators/journalists/leaders .. present or future, and its goal is to talk about media education now – in the context of the development of new technologies, and then work out the final effect together.
As a team from Gdańsk, we want to focus on the topic of media freedom, critical thinking, information verification and the impact of AI on education.

As part of the project, an international meeting will be held in Bremen on October 12-16, 2023, during which we will take part in meetings and discussions as well as work on the joint result of the project. A second meeting is also planned for May 23-27. 2024 in Gdańsk with the participation of partners from Bremen. This will be the end of the project. Between the meetings in Bremen and Gdańsk, we plan regular team meetings related to work on the project, as well as developing competences related to the subject of the activity.

Meetings with Partners from Bremen will be held in English.
